Great Christian Movies to Watch Right Now

We've arrived at the holiest season of the year. With coronavirus restrictions in full swing, many of us are looking forward to an Easter season that looks nothing like we're used to.

But even though we're trapped at home, we can find spiritual inspiration in the most unlikely of places: our phones.

Let's take a look at some Christian movies that are actually available to watch.

I Still Believe:

This was on its way to becoming the biggest Christian hit of the year. Then the coronavirus arrived. So, after a couple of weeks in theatres, the Jeremy Camp biopic is now available on a range of platforms, including Apple TV, Google Play, and Amazon, as of today.

Paul, Apostle of Christ:

The film stars James Faulkner and Jim Caviezel and is set during the last years of Paul's ministry (when he was imprisoned by the Romans) and the beginnings of Roman persecution of Christians.

The Passion of the Christ:

Mel Gibson's bloody and emotional blockbuster rewrote cinematic history, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film ever (at the time).

The Case for Christ:

Lee Strobel, a well-known apologist, wasn't always a believer. He started his career as a sceptic reporter for the Chicago Tribune, covering legal news. When Strobel's wife converts to Christianity and he sets out to prove her wrong, he learns that there are plenty of reasons to believe. The Case for Christ, starring Mike Vogel, is an unexpectedly compelling look at both Strobel's path to faith and faith itself.
